- You can then choose to join an account you have an invite for, or create a new organization.
- Next you will need to agree to the terms for the beta.
- Your organization is ready.
User Roles
There are three types of users in TTYT:
Adminsmanage organizations and users.App Buildershave the ability to create and modify apps in TTYT.Usersinteract with TTYT-apps.
Within TTYT-apps, App Builders are free to define their own roles specific to their app. Learn more in the Building and Managing TTYT-apps guide.
Controlling Who Has App Builder Rights
Under your TTYT organization settings you can manage who in the organization can create apps.
This is controlled by the App Creator Policy:
- Everyone can create apps: All users can create and edit apps.
- Restricted to app creators: Only app creators can create and edit apps.
If you restrict App Builder privileges, you can control which users have those privileges on the member management page.
Invite and Manage Users
There are two ways to invite users:
- Explicit invitations under the TTYT organization admin page invitation tab.
- Automatic invitations based on email domain.
Setting Up Automated Invitations Based on Email Domain
If you set up automated invitations based on email domain, then each user who logs in with a valid email with a matching domain will automatically get an invitation to join your organization. For example, if you set up example.com as your domain, then all users with a validated email (e.g. user@example.com) will be invited.
- Go to your TTYT organization settings.
- Under
Sign-up & Domainsadd your desired domain, e.g.example.com.
Notes
- TTYT requires that each email is validated by the user. The user needs to confirm they have access to their mailbox.
- DNS domain ownership is currently not verified in the beta.
Track Available AI Credit
The TTYT organization settings page allows you to keep tabs on your available AI credit. Each time a user in your organization talks to our AI, credit is used up.
During the beta, each organization gets a one-time grant of 10 USD worth of credits. If you'd like more, reach out on Discord)
